600mg of Lemon Balm extract (300mg at breakfast and 300mg at dinner) was able to reduce anxiety (15-18%) in a cohort of stressed persons and subsequently reduced anxiety-related insomnia (42%). The degree of insomnia reduction is quite large, but may be wholly due to reduction in anxiety.

Agitation decreased (aggression) and hyperexcitation also decreased (relaxation). Other symptoms such as eating problems, guilt, and fatigue were deemed to be due to anxiety were also decreased alongside the anxiety.
