Creatine loading following by 22-27 weeks of maintenance (3g creatine and 7g glucose) followed by another loading phase prior to competition failed to significantly improve sprint performance or prolonged swimming performance. There was a decline in growth hormone associated with the loading phase, but this was attenuated with maintenance and IGF-1 was unaffected.

IGF-1 increased in response to resistance training, with a greater increase in the creatine supplemented group.
No difference in IGF-1 increase between vegetarians and omnivores.

Creatine increased mRNA levels for IGF-I and IGF-II, but these increased mRNA levels did not translate into additional IGF-I or IGF-II serum levels after exercise.
Increased 4E-BP1 phosphorylation was noted chronically, but was dependent on exericse.
Subjects consumed 21g creatine monohydrate for 5 days.

Conducted in collegiate level football playing males.
Synergism noted between creatine and beta-alanine coingestion in regards to body composition, but power and hormonal differences attributed to creatine.

Dosed at 0.3g/kg bodyweight creatine monohydrate for 7 days followed by 0.05g/kg thereafter.
Investigated creatine monohydrate during overreaching/overtraining, was found to alleviate decreases in power output on some measures and increase strength on others.
Testosterone and Free testosterone were continuously higher in creatine monohydrate group, although the groupXtime effects were not statistically significant.
